Backstory

Agatbryda was born in a small village located near the peak of a mountain on the tip of the Northern Empty coastline. Her mother, Peaceful Dream, was nothing like her namesake. She hailed from a long line of warriors, one of the last families still clinging to their old ways. Holskahct, her father, was almost the opposite of her wife. A soft spoke man who once had dreams of leaving The Farreach to study the arcane but instead remained home to continue the family carpentry business. Given her parents' great respect of their culture, Agatbryda was expected to continue down the path of her mother; learning the ways of the axe to guard both the village and the gateway to Hell that lied at the mountain's peak (at least that's what all the stories said). From the moment she could barely stand, Dream put her daughter through rigorous training that steeled both her body and mind, but not her spirit. In a way Agatbryda, took after both her parents. Her mother's strength and stubbornness, with her father's longing to leave. But unlike her father, she did not just long, she acted.Just shy of her nineteenth nameday, Agatbryda left her home, something unheard of for firstborns, and began exploring Eoreza. From the warm coastline of her birthplace to the snowy region of Coerthas, Agatbryda earned coin on her travels as a hunter, gathering pelts and game for merchants. Hunting came easily to her, as it was something every Hellsguard needed to know to survive in the barren Farreach. But even with her talents, her presence in Ishgard was not widely enjoyed and so she continue south to Gridania. In these new bountiful woods, Agatbryda struggled to catch enough to make ends meet. It wasn't until she picked up the way of the lance while observing local hunters that something within her clicked. A lance felt far better in her hands than an axe ever did. Some would call her technique sloppy, but to her it's effective. With this newfound weapon, combined with years of warrior training, Agatbryda became a world renowned hunter known far and wide as the "Hellstalker".Presently Agatbryda continues to travel Eoreza and beyond, offering herself as a mercenary and explorer in addition to a hunter. On occasion she is known to coordinate with several adventuring groups to fill her life with all the excitement she craves.

Mother

Current chieftan of Greinspyr and leader of the Zirnwyb, it's all female warrior troupe. As Agatbryda is her only child, Dream intends for her to be her successor, continuing their long family tradition.Dream cares a lot about the Zirynwyb and their legacy. She is a very strict leader and a harsh mother, unsure how to share her feelings with her daughter.

Holskahct Myteornsyn

Father

The gentle balance to his imposing wife. Holskahct is a simple carpenter carrying on his family business. In his daughter's youth, he was the primary homemaker, taking care of the bulk of childcare and housework which he continues to do to this day.Holskahct once dreamed of leaving Greinspyr to study the arcane. Instead he decided to remain in the village and marry the love of his life.

Best Friend & Ex-Girlfriend

Pfrymlona is an accomplished sorceress who's studied their tribe's old magics. She's known Agatbryda since childhood and were each other's first loves. She has a tendency to baby her friends but hell hath no fury like her scorn.

Swift Aura

Swift Aura is a scout of Zirnwyb and another on of Agatbryda's childhood friends. She tends to be all talk and no bite but is still reliable to a fault.

Azar and Agat met on a hunting trip in the Hinterlands and they've been friends ever since.
She is always roping Agatbryda into the strangest situations, but she wouldn't trade any of those experiences for the world.

Agat is an adventurer first and a rational person second. She's always visiting new places, no matter how dangerous they may be. Maybe you'd like to hear about her last exploits or even come along on the next one.

Need exotics furs, choice cuts of meat, or other beastly problem solved? Agat is a hunter and trapper for hire. I should warn you, she's not cheap.

A challenger approaches
Agat is too subborn for her own good. Challenge her to any sort of drinking or fighting competition and watch the chaos unfold.

The following is my personal lore about the warrior inner beast and the village Agat comes from. Feel free to message for more detailsNear the peak of the Abalathia's Spine, there lies a village tucked into the mountainside known for its copper rich soil and special type of warriors, Greinspyr.Only those of strong will can become Warriors of Greinspyr, less they be consumed by the beast within.
The first step on this path is to draw in a Voidsent from the void, tempting it with aether and shackling it to the student. Throughout years of training warriors learn to use the Voidsent's strength and power as their own, using their body as a conduit. During the last trial, fletching warriors will fully accept their Voidsent, letting themselves be fully blinded with bloodlust and rage. Not only is this a test of their power, but also their will, as they fight their mentor until one yields.Agatbryda's beast is named Theron, a hulking creature she was bonded to at a young age, at the behest of her mother. They constantly lurk in the back of her mind, whispering terrible things in her ears whenever she lets her anger get the best of her. At the moment she has never been able to control them fully, and is the only thing standing in her way from becoming a full Warrior of Greinspyr.
